Elon Musk vedic chart analysis

Elon Musk is the talk of the town! He is disrupting the entire governmental apparatus. I did a video covering Elon Musk vedic chart analysis. In this we look at the strength of his Lagna and the yogas in his chart. Not surprisingly, he has a very strong lagna and a ton of yogas. This means that he will have a lot of opportunities (yogas) and will be able to take full advantage of them (lagna).

We then look at some personal characteristics, specifically his intelligence, maverick nature, and lack of compassion. There are clear signs in his chart explaining these observations.

Finally, we look at his current rise to power. Elon Musk has always been famous as a genius and technology innovator. However, his foray into politics was not expected. Elon is currently running Rahu/Venus period, which is more than half way through his Rahu mahadasha. Rahu mahadasha has been stellar for him so far.

The million dollar question is whether he will continue to succeed or meet with roadblocks and face defamation. Watch the video, Elon Musk vedic chart analysis. to see my take on the question by. You can add your comments to the video as well.

2025 Transits Timeline

Please refer to this YouTube video on the 2025 transits timeline of Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu, Ketu in 2025. The video captures sign, nakshatra, and directtion changes. For each change, I have listed the signs that benefit from the change.

Rahu/Ketu and Jupiter transit happens within 2 weeks of each other. This is good for everyone because Jupiter aspects Rahu reducing any malefic effects Rahu may bring.

There are a number of changes this year and so, things will not always be up or down. There will be windows that benefit all signs.

Overall, transits are most favorable for Taurus and Libra.

JD Vance Vedic Chart

JD Vance

Below is the vedic chart of JD Vance, born on August 2nd, 1984 at 8:11 am in Middletown, Ohio.

JD Vance Vedic Chart

Lagna Vichara

Examining the first lord in JD Vance vedic chart, we see that the first lord, Sun, is in the 12th house with an aspect from a strong malefic, Saturn. This forms “Ava” yoga, which is not favorable for the native. The first house, however, has a benefic, Mercury with Dig bala, and an aspect from another strong benefic, Jupiter. Therefore, the lagna analysis produces a mixed bag. The lagnesh, Sun, is not strong, but Jupiter’s aspect reduces the malefic effect. We can conclude that JD Vance will do well whenever Jupiter is activated.

Yoga Vichara

JD Vance has Hamsa yoga when viewed from the Moon. Saturn and Mars form a dharma karmadhipati yoga. Saturn is in its sign of exaltation, Jupiter is in its own sign, and Mercury has dig bala. Therefore, these three grahas have primary strength.

Early years – Mars and Rahu periods

JD runs Mars for the first six years of his life. Mars activates the three trik lords (6th, 8th, and 12th) and is conjunct a strong malefic, Saturn. Mars and Saturn conjunction is not considered very auspicious. The two planets have opposing traits. Mars wants to move fast, while Saturn is slow by nature.

JD then runs Rahu for the next 18 years. through 2008. Rahu’s rasi and nakshatra lords are both in the 12th house. This creates losses, isolation, and travel to foreign lands, among other things. During this period JD completes high school, enlists in the US Marine Corps, and finishes his first year in Ohio State University.

Successful period

In 2008 JD starts his Jupiter maha dasha. Jupiter is probably the best planet in JD’s chart. All his success so far have come in the Jupiter period. He completes his bachelors from Ohio State, joins the prestigious Yale law school, marries his wife, has 3 kids, writes a best seller, is successful professionally, and becomes a Senator. His chart shows what a single powerful graha can do.

Specifically, he marries in 2014, Jupiter/Mercury period, which activate the 2nd house (Me is the 2nd lord) of family, 7th house (Sa, 7th lord aspects Ju) of marriage, and 11th house (Me is the 11th lord) of society.

His book is the best seller in 2016 – 2017, Jupiter/Venus, which activate the fame factors – 1st (Venus is conjunct the first lord) and 5th (Jupiter is the 5th lord in the 5th house). Venus is also the lord of the 3rd house of writing.

Finally, he wins the senate race in 2022, Jupiter/Rahu. Jupiter is the 5th lord in the 5th house activating the house of fame and Rahu’s nakshatra lord is Su, the 1st lord.

Current Period and the 2024 election

JD’s Jupiter period ended in Apr 2024. He runs Saturn for the next 19 years. Saturn is in its sign of exaltation, which gives strength. However, this does not tell whether the strength is for good of bad. A strong Saturn is not viewed positively for Cancer and Leo ascendants because it activates the 7th (marriage) and 6th or 8th houses (problems). Saturn is also conjunct Mars, as previously mentioned, creating an internal conflict of opposing traits. Saturn’s rasi lord is also in the 12th house. All these factors point to an up and down period with more losses and conflicts. Could be a rocky road for his marriage as well.

The 2024 election is during his Saturn/Saturn period. This does not activate the 1st of the 5th lords. Therefore, I don’t believe he will win the election.

Prediction on 2024 US elections

Above is a link to my first video in the vedicmystics channel on YouTube. I have always wanted to create videos, but never did it. With the upcoming 2024 election, I predict that Harris will win. This is historic in the US for several reasons. She would be the first woman President – would be referred to as Madame President! She would be the first President of Indian descent and the first President of Jamaican descent.

I figured this would be the best topic to start my video journey. Please watch and provide your comments.

Tim Walz vedic chart

Tim Walz

Disclaimer: I do not have Tim Walz’ birth time, but will provide some rationale behind the time I am using.

Tim Walz‘s birth date is April 6th, 1964. He was born in West Point, Nebraska. Below is Tim Walz vedic chart assuming an approximate birth time of 6:45 am.

Tim Walz vedic chart

Rationale for choice of time

Personality – Tim Walz has a funny, cheerful, energetic, and robust personality. The funny and cheerful part indicates the importance of Mercury in his chart. His energy points to Mars and his robust personality indicates Jupiter’s influence. These three come into play if his ascendant is Aries, with Jupiter and Mercury in the first house and Mars its lord.

With an Aries ascendant, he currently runs Saturn and Venus dasha and bhukti. The positions of the grahas in the D9 and D10 charts do not change for any degree of the ascendant in Aries. Therefore, Ve is in its sign of exaltation and forms an exchange with Jupiter in his D9 chart. Also, Venus and Saturn are conjoint in his D10 chart. Given that the current period is a highpoint in his career, I pick a time that places the Ve and Sa combination in the tenth house in his D10 chart. I am also picking a time that places Ve (the bhukti lord) in the tenth house in the D9 chart.

With these assumptions, we get a birth time around 6:45 am.

Lagna Analysis

The lagna in Tim Walz vedic chart is strong with two benefics, Jupiter and Mercury, having Dig Bala in this house. The lagnesh, Mars, is in the 12th house, but forms a parivartana with Jupiter. Mars and Sun also form a dharma karmadhipati yoga, making Mars yogic. Overall, lagna is strong.

Current Period

The current period is that of Saturn and Venus. Saturn is the 10th lord of career and the 11th lord of gains. Venus is the 7th lord of partnerships and the 2nd lord of wealth. Saturn and Venus are strong because they are in their own signs. Saturn activates Rahu (nakshatra lord), which in turn activates Mars, the first lord representing the self. Saturn also aspects the first house. Venus activates Sun (nakshatra lord), the fifth lord of fame. Combining all of these we get – the Saturn and Venus period brings fame to the native in the area of his career via partnerships. This fame also brings gains and wealth.

Prediction

Given the above mentioned factors, it appears that Tim Walz vedic chart predicts that he has a strong chance of becoming the next Vice President of USA in the upcoming election.

Kamala Harris as US President?

Kamala Harris as US President?

Now that we have the terrible performance by Biden on the debate stage, there is increased pressure for him to resign and make way for a younger candidate. Does this open up the possibility of Kamala Harris as US President?

We will look at Kamala Harris‘ chart to see if it has the signs that predict fame in the November 2024 timeframe. Below is her chart.

Kamala Harris vedic chart

In the Presidential Election Winners blog, I indicate that the signature for a first-time President is the activation of the first and fifth houses.

Kamala Harris runs Rahu and Venus, dasha and bhuktis, at the time of the election. To be more accurate, she runs Ra/Ve/Mo at the time of the election. The Democratic National Convention is from Aug 19th to Aug 22nd 2024. Kamala runs Ra/Ve/Su from August 4th 2024. This is interesting because Sun indicates leadership and this change happens just before the convention.

Rahu is in the first house. This covers the first requirement – activation of the first house. Rahu’s rasi lord, Mercury, is in the fifth house. This covers the second condition – activation of the fifth house – as well. Venus is the fifth lord, further activating the fifth house. Venus’ rasi lord, Sun, is in the fifth house conjunct the first lord. This shows further confluence of the first and fifth houses/lords. Venus and Sun form a parivartana yoga as well. Therefore, Venus can be treated as the fifth lord in the fifth house, conjunct the first lord. Venus also activates the 9th lord, Saturn, by mutual aspect. This brings the 1st, 5th, and 9th lords into focus during this period. The signature clearly shows a chance for her to become a first-time President.

Kamala Harris ran Ra/Me in 2020, which activates the first and fifth houses/lords as well. She won her first vice-presidency during that time. The period of Ra/Ve is stronger because of more yogas formed by Ve. Finally, Ra/Ve also activate the first and fifth houses in the D9 and D10 charts as well.

Justice Samuel Alito Vedic Chart

Justice Samuel Alito

US Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito was born on April 1st, 1950 at 00:56 am in Trenton, NJ. Below is Justice Samuel Alito Vedic Chart.

Justice Samuel Alito Vedic Chart

Lagna Vichara

Samuel Alito’s ascendant sign is Sagittarius. Individuals with this ascendant aim high, are competitive, intellectuals, and can win over their enemies. They are also lucky, blunt speakers, and have dual careers. These general characteristics hold true for Alito. In terms of dual careers, Alito served in the Army Reserve before switching over to a career in Law.

Jupiter is also yogic. Jupiter forms dhana (wealth) yogas because of the mutual aspect of the 2nd and 11th lords, with involvement of the 1st lord. Jupiter also forms the powerful Gaja Kesari yoga.

Further, Jupiter is in its own sign in the D10 chart. All these provide the necessary conditions for power and wealth.

Yoga Vichara

Apart from the yogas that involve Jupiter, Alito’s chart also has yogas from the combination of grahas in the 4-10 axis. Here the most powerful raja yoga forms with the conjunction of the 9th and 10th lords in the fourth house. In addition, this combination has mutual aspect from the 5th lord. The negative is that Rahu and Ketu are involved in this axis. Therefore, the powerful raja yoga has the malefic influence of Rahu, Ketu, and Mars.

Current Period

In June 2024, Alito runs Saturn dasha and Rahu bhukti. With these two, his whole chart get lit up. All the grahas and therefore all the houses come into play. This period is from Nov 2022 to Sep 2025. The US Supreme Court’s partisan leanings has created a constitutional crisis and Alito, himself, is in the center of a number of scandals. Interestingly, Alito ran this period before. Alito’s Ra/Sa period ran from May 1980 to Mar 1983. 1980 marked the end of Alito’s first career in the Army Reserve. We may see the end of Alito’s second career in the current time frame.

While all the houses are activated, the focus would be the 4th and 9th houses where Rahu and Saturn are placed. 5th house is the house for fame and 10th house, the house for career. The 12th from these houses indicate loss of significations of these houses. Therefore, the 4th house indicates loss of fame and the 9th house indicates loss of career. This period activates all the negative houses – 3, 6, 8, and 12 as well.

Additionally at this time, the transit of Rahu and Ketu are in the same signs that Alito has in his birth chart. Rahu and Ketu transit at 14 degrees 10 minutes on August 23rd, 2024. This could be a key date in Alito’s career.

In conclusion it feels like the current period could be a major setback based on Justice Samuel Alito vedic chart.

2024 Presidential Election

2024 Presidential Election

The previous article – Presidential Election Winners – looks at the astrological combination that indicates fame. Essentially, the event that brings about personal fame happens when the first and fifth houses are activated during the time of the event. Using this let us look at the chart of the candidates in the 2024 Presidential Election.

In the 2024 election, however, we do not have a candidate that would be a first time president. Therefore, the event of winning the election does not truly transform either candidate. Not sure if this is the first time in US history that both candidates are vying for a second term.

Joe Biden

Biden is currently in his Saturn/Saturn dasha and bhukti. Saturn’s rasi lord, Venus is in the first house. This activates the first house. Saturn also aspects the first house. However, this combination does not activate the fifth house.

Donald Trump

Donald Trump chart

Trump runs the dasha of Jupiter and the bhukti of Venus at the time of the election and inauguration. Jupiter is the fifth lord. Jupiter’s nakshatra lord is Mars, which is in the first house. Therefore, Jupiter itself activates the first and fifth houses. Venus’ nakshatra lord is Jupiter, which again activates the fifth house.

Based on the above analysis, Trump stands a better chance than Biden. However, there are two caveats to this analysis. The first is the one I have already mentioned. Both candidates are vying for a second term. Therefore the result of this election is not personally as important to either candidate. The second is that Trump ran Jupiter and Saturn in the 2020 election. This combination also activates the first and fifth houses and is actually very similar to the Jupiter and Mercury combination that he will run in 2024.

Given these two caveats, I feel we can ignore the 1/5 factor when trying to predict the 2024 Presidential Winner.

Update – 07/05/2024 – Given Joe Biden’s debate performance, there are calls for him to step down. As mentioned above, both charts do not have the 1 and 5 indicators. I looked at Kamala Harris’ chart, and the signature to be a first time President is very strong in her chart. There is a likely chance that Biden will step down and Kamala Harris will beat Trump in the election.

Presidential Election Winners

Presidential Election Winners

With the US Presidential election coming up in 6 months, let us look at the astrological configurations of the presidential election winners in the last few elections.

The classic alignment for fame is the activation of the first and fifth house at the time of the event. The logic for this is simple. The first house represents the individual. When an individual become the President of the US, that event changes who they are for the rest of their lives. Therefore, it is natural to expect the activation of the first house. The fifth house is the purva punya house, representing the fruits of the karmas of the previous births. The fifth house is also the house for fame. These two factors makes the activation of the fifth house a logical indication for fame.

For this analysis we consider the first time someone becomes the President because that is the turning point in their life. Here is the list of the past few Presidential election winners.

Joe Biden – 2020

Joe Biden chart

The dasha and bhukti lords at the time of his inauguration are Jupiter and Mars, respectively. Jupiter is the fifth lord and Mars is the first lord. Jupiter is in its sign of exaltation and Mars gains strength because of its parivartana yoga with Venus.

Donald Trump – 2016

Donald Trump chart

The dasha and bhukti lords at the time of his inauguration are Rahu and Mars, respectively. Rahu is conjunct Sun, the first lord. Therfore, Rahu activates the first house. Mars is in the first house, thereby activating the first house as well. Rahu also activates Jupiter because Jupiter aspects Rahu. This brings out the fifth house.

Barack Obama – 2008

Barack Obama chart

The dasha and bhukti lords at the time of his inauguration are Jupiter and Moon, respectively. Jupiter is in the first house with the first lord, Saturn. This activates the first house and the first lord. Moon is in the fifth house, thus activating the fifth house and fifth lord.

This chart and the event satisfy the 1/5 activation pattern that we are looking for. In addition, Jupiter, Saturn, and Moon have primary strengths. Jupiter with dig bala and retrograde strength. Saturn in its own sign and retrograde strength, and Moon in its exaltation sign.

George W Bush – 2000

George W Bush chart

The dasha and bhukti lords at the time of his inauguration are Saturn and Mars. Saturn is in the first house and Mars is the fifth lord.

Bill Clinton – 1992

Bill Clinton chart

Bill Clinton’s inauguration date was January 20th, 1992. This is right on the cusp of his Jupiter/Saturn and Jupiter/Mercury periods. We can look at both because they both bring out the first and fifth houses.

Jupiter’s rasi lord, Venus, and nakshatra lord, Mars, are both in the first house – thus activating the first house. Saturn is the fifth lord. Therefore, Jupiter and Saturn activate the first and the fifth houses. Mercury is the first lord with Saturn, the fifth lord. Therefore, Mercury in of itself activates the first and fifth houses.

George H W Bush – 1988 – birth time does not have a AA rating

George H W Bush chart

The dasha and bhukti lords at the time of his inauguration are Mercury and Venus. Mercury’s nakshatra lord is Sun and Mercury is also conjunct the Sun. In both these ways, Mercury activates Sun, the first lord. Venus’ nakshatra lord is Jupiter, the lord of the fifth house. Venus also aspects the fifth house. Therefore, Mercury and Venus activate the first and fifth houses.

Ronald Reagen – 1980 – birth time does not have a AA rating

Ronald Reagen chart

The dasha and bhukti lords at the time of his inauguration are Saturn and Mercury. Saturn is in the fifth house and Mercury is in the first house. This also satisfies the requirement.

Jimmy Carter – 1976

Jimmy Carter chart

The dasha and bhukti lords at the time of his inauguration are Ketu and Venus. Ketu’s rasi lord is Saturn and nakshatra lord is Mars. Both activate the fifth house – Saturn as the lord of the fifth house and Mars by placement in the fifth house. Venus is the lord of the fist house. Therefore, Ketu and Venus activate the first and fifth houses.

Richard Nixon – 1968

Richard Nixon chart

The dasha and bhukti lords at the time of his inauguration are Saturn and Rahu. Rahu’s rasi lord is Jupiter. This activates the fifth house. Saturn’s nakshatra lord is Sun, which activates the first house.

This analysis confirms that the activation of the first and fifth houses correlates well with the chance of winning the Presidency. So, what does this mean for the 2024 election. We can look at Joe Biden and Donald Trump’s charts using this principle.

Pulippani Jothidam – Paalai Yogam

Pulippani Jothidam Paalai Yogam

Sloka 175 in Pulippani Jothidam Paalai Yogam describes the combination that creates Paalai Yogam.

Combination

The combination has two criteria. The first is that Jupiter and Venus are conjunct (together). The second is that this combination of Jupiter and Venus is in the twelfth from the Sun.

Results

Paalai yogam makes the native a scholar, well versed in poetry, many literatures, and sashtras. The native gains acclaim as a well read person. The person also enjoys a long life.
