Conjunction – Moon and Venus
It is important to understand how the combinations of grahas affect a chart. To exemplify the analysis, we look at combinations where both grahas are either in their own sign or in their sign of exaltation. We look at the conjunction of Moon and Venus here. There are only six such combinations if you ignore Rahu and Ketu. These are
- Sun and Mars – in Aries
- Moon and Venus – in Taurus
- Jupiter and Moon – in Cancer
- Saturn and Venus – in Libra
- Saturn and Mars – in Capricorn
- Jupiter and Venus – in Pisces
In Taurus, Moon is in its sign of exaltation and Venus is in its own sign. This gives both grahas primary strength. Charts with this combination can help exemplify the results of such a combination.
According to Saravali, a native with conjunction of Moon and Venus in their chart is endowed with flowers, incense, and clothes. The native performs his duties, is dear to his race and is also an expert in buying and selling. On the negative side, such individuals can be very lazy.
Moon and Venus are female grahas. Therefore, it is not surprising to see attributes that highlight fashion and nice things.
Lionel Messi
Lionel Messi’s chart has Moon and Venus in his first house, with Venus being the lagnesh. In addition, this combination is aspected by Saturn, the lord of the ninth and tenth houses. Messi is cited as the world’s most marketable athletes every year since 2010. Messi is a model for the luxury brand Dolce & Gabbana, and wears D&G clothes to all the galas he attends. He is the first footballer to receive his own sub-brand of Adidas boots and in 2015, a Barcelona jersey with Messi’s name and number was the best-selling replica jersey worldwide. Therefore, it is fair to say Messi is a fashion icon.
Messi is dedicated to his profession and country and is the pride of Argentina, making him dear to his race.
Conrad Hilton Jr.
Conrad Hilton Jr. was the playboy heir to the Hilton empire. He epitomizes the negative qualities of being lazy and enjoying all Venusian pleasures. In this chart, when compared to Messi’s, the ninth and fifth lords are not favorably placed. The ninth (and tenth) lord, Saturn is in the sixth house and the fifth lord is in the third house. Whereas, in Messi’s chart the ninth lord is in the seventh house aspecting the first house and lord, and the fifth lord is in the second house with the fourth lord, forming another Raja yoga.
