In the previous article we looked at the factors that could predict coronation. These were the triggering of the 1st, 5th, and 11th houses. Now, can we predict the timing of the coronation of Prince William?

Here is the chart of Prince William –

He is currently running Sa/Ra until August 3rd, 2026. He then runs Sa/Ju until February 14th, 2029. That is, essentially, the next 5 years of Prince William’s life.

Saturn

Saturn is the dasha lord. It is the lord of the 2nd and 3rd house, in the 10th house. Sa activates the following grahas –

• Mars, by conjunction – Mars rules his 5th and 12th houses, and is in his 10th house.
• Mercury, as rasi lord – Mercury rules his 7th and 10th houses, and is in his 6th house.
• Moon, as nakshatra lord – Moon rules his 8th house, and is in his 7th house.

Therefore, Saturn activates the 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 10th, and 12th houses. This has only one of the houses we care for – the 5th!

Rahu

Rahu is his bhukti lord until August 3rd, 2026. Let us see if Rahu can activate the 1st and 11th houses. Rahu does not own any houses, but activates the 7th house by placement. Rahu activates the following grahas –

• Sun, by conjunction – Sun rules the 9th house, and is in the 7th house.
• Moon, by conjunction – Moon rules the 8th house, and is in the 7th house.
• Mercury, as rasi lord – Mercury rules his 7th and 10th houses, and is placed in his 6th house.
• Jupiter, as nakshatra lord – Jupiter rules his 1st and 4th houses, and is placed in his 11th house.

Therefore, Rahu activates the 1st, 4th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th houses. Jupiter is the key factor – activating the missing 1st and 11th houses. Jupiter aspects Rahu as well, thereby doubling its influence on Rahu. Interestingly, if you combine the influence of Saturn and Rahu, they activate all the houses in his chart. It is very rare for the Dasha and Bhukti lords to activate all the 12 houses at once. Rahu also signifies unexpected gains.

All these factors make it highly probable that Prince William will become King by August 3rd, 2026.

Narrowing the timing further using Pratyantar Dasha

• Sa/Ra/Ju until July 18th, 2024. Jupiter is his ascendant, who activates the 1st and 11th houses, while aspecting the 5th house. Therefore, this period sounds promising for his coronation.
• Sa/Ra/Sa followed by Sa/Ra/Me from July 18th, 2024 to May 27th, 2025. These are not as promising.
• Sa/Ra/Ke until July 26th, 2025. Ke activates Jupiter, and so is another promising time.
• Sa/Ra/Ve until Jan 16th, 2026. Ve is not as promising.
• Sa/Ra/Su followed by Sa/Ra/Mo until June 4th, 2026. Sun and Moon activate Jupiter, by aspect and so are promising.
• Sa/Ra/Ma through August 3rd, 2026. This is not promising.

Using this method, you could narrow the coronation to the period until July 18th, 2024, couple of months from May 27th, 2025 to July 26th, 2025, or Jan 16th, 2026 to June 4th, 2026.

Given the intense speculation around the future of the British royal family after the cancer diagnosis of King Charles III, let us explore factors that could determine coronation and verify these factors using charts of recent Kings and Queens. I contend that the astrological factors for coronation involve the activation of the fifth, eleventh, and first houses.

The eleventh house is the house of gains and the fifth house represents one’s purva punya (accumulated wealth from past lives good and bad deeds). Most future Kings and Queens are born into a royal family and therefore, their coronation is a gain from their purva punya. The first house represents the individual.

Activation of houses

Dasha and Bhukti lords activate houses. For a given graha (dasha or bhukti) the following houses are activated.

• House the graha is in (placement of the graha)
• Houses owned by the graha (lord of houses)
• Houses owned by grahas conjunct the dasha or bhukti graha.
• House placement and ownership of the lord of the dasha or bhukti graha.
• House placement and ownership of the nakshatra lord of the dasha or bhukti graha.

We can use the influence from grahas aspecting the dasha and bhukti lords.

The 2024 election takes place on November 5th, 2024. We can look at the strength of Joe Biden and Donald Trump‘s charts to see who has a greater chance of winning astrologically. Here is the analysis of the 2024 Election using Donald Trump’s Chart.

Donald Trump’s Chart

The main factors to look at are the dasha and bhukti lords, their placements in the D1, D9, and D10 charts and the transits of Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu at that time.

Dasha and Bhukti Lords

On November 5th, 2024, Jupiter is the dasha lord and Venus is the bhukti lord.

In D1, Jupiter has one primary strength, that of retrogression. Venus has no primary strength, but has vargottama strength. Considering the aspects to Jupiter, its rasi lord, and its nakshatra lord, Jupiter activates the 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, and 12 houses. Venus on the other hand activates the 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, and 12 houses. Jupiter and Venus together activate all the houses. These include the career houses (6 and 10), the lucky houses (1, 5, and 9), and the unlucky houses (6, 8, and 12). This creates a mixed bag. Upon further inspection, the unlucky houses (6, 8, and 12) are activated by both Jupiter and Venus. However, the career houses and the lucky houses are only activated by one or the other. Therefore, the overall tendency is more towards the unlucky side.

Additionally, the bhadak (one causing obstructions) – Mars and both maraks (ones causing death) Mercury and Saturn are also activated. This further makes the period challenging.

In the D9 chart, which represents the fruits of ones actions, neither Jupiter nor Venus has any special strength. Finally, in the D10 chart, Jupiter is in its sign of debilitation, while Venus is in its sign of exaltation. Additionally, Jupiter also forms a dhainya parivartana yoga, which is not a positive yoga.

Overall, the period promises a lot of obstructions and is not promising for career success.

2024 Election Transits

Transits are traditionally seen from the Moon’s placement; Scorpio in Trump’s chart. From Scorpio, on November 5th, 2024, Saturn is in the 4th house, Jupiter is in the 7th house, Rahu is in the 5th house, Ketu is in the 11th house, and Venus is in the 1st house. These placements give a mixed bag of results, not enough to reverse the obstructions the dasha and bhukti lords cause.

Previous Venus and Jupiter period

Trump has experienced the Jupiter, Venus combination before in his life. Trump ran Venus dasha and Jupiter bhukti from Jan 1966 to Sep 1968. This was the two years Trump spent in UPenn. From all accounts it feels like this was not a very good time for Trump.

Conclusion

Looking at the 2024 Election using Donald Trump’s Chart, Trump’s chances of winning are not very high. I reviewed Biden’s chart as well. Biden’s chart is much stronger.

Update – 07/05/2024 – Given Joe Biden’s debate performance, there are calls for him to step down. I looked at Kamala Harris’ chart, and the signature to be a first time President is very strong in her chart. There is a likely chance that Biden will step down and Kamala Harris will beat Trump in the election.

Joe Biden’s chart

The main factors to look at are the dasha and bhukti lords, their placements in the D1, D9, and D10 charts and the transits of Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu at that time.

Dasha and Bhukti lords

On November 5th, 2024, Saturn is both the dasha lord and the bhukti lord in Joe Biden’s chart. Therefore, Saturn has an heavy influence in Biden’s chances of winning.

In the D1 chart, Saturn has two primary strengths; retrograde and dig bala. Saturn is also in a friendly sign aspected by the lord of the sign (Venus). Considering the aspects to Saturn, its rasi lord, and its nakshatra lords, Saturn activates the 1, 3, 4, 6, 9, 10, 11, and 12 houses. These cover the houses for career success (6,10 – 1,9,11).

In the D9 chart, which represents the fruits of ones actions, Saturn is the yogakaraka in the 9th house with the ninth and tenth lords forming a raja yoga. Similarly, in the D10 chart of career, Saturn is again the yogakaraka in the 9th house with the 10th lord. The 9th and 10th lords also form a maha parivartana yoga.

Therefore, Saturn promises good results, especially in career.

2024 Election Transits

Transits are traditionally seen from the Moon’s placement; Aries in Biden’s chart. From Aries, on November 5th, 2024, Saturn is in the 11th house, Jupiter is in the 2nd house, Rahu is in the 12th house, and Ketu is in the 5th house. These are all exceptional placements for these grahas. The 11th house placement of Saturn is especially good. This again, promises good results for Biden.

Previous sub-periods of Saturn

Finally, we can look at the results from Saturn in some of its previous sub-periods. I will look at these in reverse chronological order.

Jupiter/Saturn – from Nov 5th, 2008 to May 20th, 2011. This was when Obama and Biden won their first term making Biden the Vice President of USA.

Mars/Saturn – from Feb 1984 to Mar 1985. Biden won his third term as Senator in this period.

Moon/Saturn – from Dec 1975 to July 1977. Biden married Jill in this period. Definitely a positive period of him.

Conclusion

Looking at the 2024 Election using Joe Biden’s Chart, Biden has a higher chance of winning. I reviewed Trump’s chart as well. Trump’s chart is not as strong.

Update – 07/05/2024 – Given Joe Biden’s debate performance, there are calls for him to step down. Khadga Yoga Formation

Khadga yoga forms when the second lord and the ninth lord exchange signs and the ascendant lord is in a Kendra or Trikona house. In this formation the second and ninth lords form a parivartana yoga.

Effects of the yoga

The native with this yoga is wealthy, fortunate, and happy. He or she is learned in shastras (spiritual knowledge) and is intelligent. The native is also strong and skillful.

Example Chart – Roy E Disney

Roy E Disney‘s vedic chart shows the formation of this yoga. His father and uncle (Walt Disney) founded the Walt Disney Company. Roy was the last member of the Disney family actively involved in the company.

In this chart, the second lord, Venus and the ninth lord, Jupiter are in each others signs. Jupiter is in Taurus, Venus’ sign and Venus is in Saggittarius, Jupiter’s sign. Additionally, the first lord, Mars, is in the ninth house – a Trikona house.

He was personally wealthy and was born into a wealthy family. He is therefore, fortunate and wealthy. He was a celebrated yachtsman showing his strength and skillfulness. From all accounts is was a happy man as well. Given that he managed such a large organization, we could assume he was intelligent. Therefore, Roy’s chart is a good example to illustrate this yoga.

Kalanidhi Yoga Formation

Kalanidhi yoga forms when Jupiter is in the second and fifth house from the ascendant and Mercury and Venus aspect Jupiter. This formation brings the three benefics; Jupiter, Venus, and Mercury in the 2/8 or 5/11 axis.

Effects of the yoga

The native with this yoga is virtuous, is honored by Kings, is bereft of diseases, is happy, is wealthy, and is learned.

Example Chart – Pope John XXIII

Pope John XXIII’s chart has this yoga. In his chart, Jupiter is the ascendant lord and is in the fifth house. That meets the first requirement for Jupiter to be in the second or fifth house. Additionally, Mercury and Venus aspect Jupiter from the eleventh house. This meets the second requirement as well.

Pope John XXIII is a virtuous man, affectionately known as the “Good Pope”. As a Pope, he receives the honor of Kings and Heads of States. He is learned and happy. He is not personally wealthy, but he was the head of the very wealthy Catholic church. Therefore, these traits make him a good example for this yoga.

Pope John XXIII becomes Pope on October 28, 1958. He runs Mercury mahadasha and Mercury antardasha at this time. The Kalanidhi yoga rightly fructifies during the Mercury/Mercury period that activates the yoga.

Conrad Hilton Jr.

Conrad Hilton Jr. was the playboy heir to the Hilton empire. He epitomizes the negative qualities of being lazy and enjoying all Venusian pleasures. In this chart, when compared to Messi’s, the ninth and fifth lords are not favorably placed. The ninth (and tenth) lord, Saturn is in the sixth house and the fifth lord is in the third house. Whereas, in Messi’s chart the ninth lord is in the seventh house aspecting the first house and lord, and the fifth lord is in the second house with the fourth lord, forming another Raja yoga.

In addition, he owns as sports franchise, has a philanthropic foundation, and is a political activist. The combination is in his fifth house of creativity and entertainment.

Cliff Burton

Cliff Burton was the bassist for thrash metal band Metallica! The combination is in the fifth of creativity and entertainment. The combination is also with the first lord and tenth lord, both Mercury. Cliff, unfortunately died very young. There is a lot going on in his fifth house with all malefics in the five-eleven axis.

Sam Bankman-Fried

Sam Bankman-Fried’s chart epitomizes the negative qualities of this combination. He has the combination in the ninth house with the first lord (Venus) and the tenth lord (Saturn). Sam ran a fraudulent crypto currency exchange. It is interesting that crypto is modern “mining”, instead of the “metallurgy” given in Saravali. In Nov 2023, Sam was found guilty of seven counts of fraud and conspiracy.

Alene Duerk

Alene Duerk became the first female Admiral in the US Navy. She started her career as an ensign in the Nurse Corps of the US Naval reserve. She grew up the ranks helping the sick and wounded via her service in the Nurse’s Corps. These show the large role that the Moon played in her life. The combination is in her eight house, pointing to the care of the chronically ill and to the transformative nature of her job. She maintained close relationship to her family and lived a modest and respected life. Alene Duerk also lived a long life, living up to the age of 98.
